REAL.LIFE.SKATE CAMP UPDATE
Real.Life.Skate Camp will be in session at Mr. Smalls Skatepark from August 15th through August 19th from 10 am to 4 pm. Participant ages generally range from 8 to 18 years old, but anyone who feels they would benefit is welcome to attend. The camp offers opportunities to develop skills, balance, and style for boarding, inline skating, and BMX. Instructors and pros, including up and coming skateboarder Evan Smith, will work one-on-one with the campers on tricks and technique after daily group instruction. The program is modeled after Woodward Camp—the premier extreme sports camp in the country. Mike Speranzo, Mr. Smalls’ President and Owner, has directed the camp for over 10 years.
Register online through www.creativelifesupport.com or by picking up a registration form at the Mr. Smalls Office. The enrollment fee is $175 for the one-week session. Register by July 22nd to receive a $25 discount. The entire week is recommended, but you can also opt to attend any number of days with our individual day passes for $60.
Mr. Small's Skate Park is located along the Allegheny River only three blocks from the Theatre. Our newly rebuilt Skate Park has an in-depth street course with a great variety of ramps for skateboarding, in-line and freestyle biking. Our in shop snack bar is available when open and all ages are welcome.
