MR. SMALLS STUDIOS:
For the past 10 years, the artist owned and operated Recording Studios has recorded Studio and Live tracks for Rusted Root, Anti-Flag, Black Eyed Peas, Everclear, 50 Cent and G Unit, Gomez, Gwar, Keller Williams, Lotus, Rasputina, and local luminaries such as Crisis Car, Liz Berlin Band, Adam Evil and the Outside Royalty, and The Clarks (see complete list)
Mr. Smalls Studios has two locations: the original at Mr Smalls Funhouse in Millvale, PA and our new place occupying former Audiomation Studios in Pittsburgh's Northside. Mr. Smalls Northside Studios include the state-of-the-art digital recording platform Pro-Tools HD, as well as large tracking, iso, and control rooms. The Funhouse studios in Millvale, now named Real.Life.Studios include cost effective rates for demos, overdubs, pre-production, and Live recordings. In addition, the Real.Life.Studios rehearsal rooms are ideal for pre-production, band rehearsals, and music lessons.

Keller recorded the live audio and video for his first DVD release at Mr. Smalls in November 2004. He utilized one of our live recording packages while playing 2 sold out nights in our theater. |

Legendary Metal Group GWAR recorded their first ever full length live release on the stage at Mr Smalls Theatre in late 2004 for this 2005 release. It was multi-tracked with Smalls Pro-Tools Mix Plus System |

Anti-Flag spent over 2 months at Mr Small’s Studios recording all the tracks for their album “The Terror State”. The drums and bass were done in the church, and guitars and vocals were done in both of our studios.

This is a live recording of one Rasputina recital held at Mr. Smalls Theatre on Halloween, 2004. It successfully captures the band's live intensity, their bizarre sense of humor, and their joy in playing. It was Multi-tracked with a Pro-Tools Mix Plus system. |

One of the young darlings of the Livetronica scene, Philadelphia's Lotus recorded their 2nd consecutive album at Mr Smalls Studios in 2005, in what amounts to be one of the most ambitious recording projects in 2005 for the Studio. This release has gained fantastic national reviews since its release in early April of this year. |
