Jakobs Ferry Stragglers
Jakobs Ferry Stragglers
Hailing from the mountain towns of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland, the Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers draw freely from old-time, bluegrass, jamgrass, rockabilly, and swing music to create their own brand of high energy Appalachian Bluegrass. Their goal is simple: write good songs, honor the music, have fun, and take it to the road.

“Western Pennsylvania has a strong bluegrass and old-time music tradition...it was built by men and women who worked. Following that tradition, the Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers are a working band...They never stand still, traveling and playing, every mile another experience to turn into a song...In the end it is their music that will tell the story...will touch that part of your heart that loves good songs well played, and good stories well told. That’s hard work...even if they make it look easy…”

Bess Greenberg
Bess Greenberg
Bess Greenberg is a singer-songwriter and visual artist based in Binghamton, NY. Recognized for rich, textured vocals and open hearted lyrics, Greenberg performs on upright bass and a hollow body electric guitar. Her songs build in passionate swells, and her conviction is a reminder that our greatest strength can be found in vulnerability. Previously of The Falconers and Milkweed, Greenberg debuted as a solo performer in the summer of 2016.
Mountain Ride
Mountain Ride
Mountain Ride was forged in the Great Valley of south-central Pennsylvania, for the simple need to play bluegrass. For these five friends, bluegrass is a necessity. Hailing from the new generation of bluegrassers, they tend to bring a unique flair to the traditional, and a progressive twist to the original. Mountain Ride is composed of Eric Avey (guitar and vocals), Chance Hurley (mandolin), Scott Matlock (fiddle and vocals), Corey Woodcock (banjo), and Kate Avey (bass and vocals). With years of experience under their straps and strings, they have found something new, something that can only be described as Mountain Ride.
